How did you come to be on the Moselle?
As a native of Zell, I ended up back on the Moselle after a few detours/explorations.
What does the river mean to you?
I enjoy the special atmosphere on the river, the climate, and that I can row here – that’s wonderful.
What do you love about your job?
I get to solve vision problems, to create a visual and well-being experience with glasses that suit my type.
Why did you settle as an optician in Neumagen-Dhron
There is an almost family atmosphere here. And I personally prefer a small, fine shop to a large one in a rather anonymous city – it’s a question of lifestyle.
Where would you like to travel?
… to the water, like the Moselle as a waterway, to new shores, to the sea, with its endless horizon, to let your imagination wander in the distance …
