What do the Moselle and the Theel mean to you?
I grew up here in Lebach on the Theel. I studied architecture in Trier/Moselle. Love then led me to Leiwen/Moselle. Now I run the Café Zeitvertreib here in Lebach together with my sister. For me, this river system means home, lifeline, constancy and serenity.

Did a particular wine awaken your love of wine?
Riesling.

Do you have a favourite wine?
Riesling Cremant Sekt from the Peter Jostock/Leiwen winery.

Where did your most beautiful journey take you?
Santiago de Compostella (on foot from Munich to Santiago – during 13 summer holidays …).

Where would you like to travel to?
To Norway, Ireland and Iceland.

What do you love about your work?
That I have the opportunity to create a feel-good moment for my guests, to give them a short break from everyday life.

What do you dream of?
Of a peaceful and respectful coexistence between people, animals, nature – a life in nature and from nature (self-catering), hiking without end …

What do you particularly like to eat?
Fruit and vegetables, which I grow and harvest myself at best.

What do you particularly like to drink?
Riesling.

What do you particularly like to listen to?
Depending on my mood, classical music, rock, techno (with my sons :-)).

What do you particularly like to smell?
Coffee, lavender and the smell of a bookshop or stationery shop.

What do you particularly like to see?
Trees, the sea, mountains and especially bright eyes.

What do you particularly like to feel?
Harmony and love, inspiration, the hunger for life.

What do you particularly like to wear?
Clothes made of natural fibres.

A fairy godmother would extend every day to 25 hours. What would you do in the given hour?
Sleep in a hammock in the forest.
